Why did it take almost 32 years to tell the truth? There was no real push by anyone to tell the plight of the kashmiri Pandits.. Just how could the Govts of the day let it happen at all?? What was shown to us is surely only 10% of what really happened... There are real facts and just buried forever? This heinous genocide should be reminded so that it never happens again just like how the jews reminds of the nazis .... The aftermath of all this has made Kashmir only burn.. If Haider is today's reality then the past which is Kashmir Files also cannot ever be forgotten... This "documentary" exposes so much which is still only a scratch on the surface.. Every riot in the country has been highlighted so much but not even a whisper about this? It's hard and brutal to the very end.. 3 hrs also might not seem enough.. Watch it if you have the heart for it...
What had i thought about this movie and what it showcased... With almost no resemblance to the Title of the movie except 'alive' it gave a different picture altogether . Surprised by its take on a tried subject, this movie is offbeat and certainly not suited for everyone . More like an art rendition , the 'white witch' of Cronicles of Narnia delvers a soothing performance . Note : Offbeat, not suited for everyone, slow and artistic genre.
