Phone Booth (2002)

I consider this one as some kinda classic. Colin Farrell with his stupendous acting just blows off the mind. Just in a simple phone booth in year 2002 where the smartphone boom has just begun, this guy just uses a payphone and for that day and moment he is just trapped there. In the year 2014 this all seems so farce, lame but looking back, it all seems so enthralling :)

A similar hindi movie - Knockout (2010) was made starring Irffan Khan and Sanjay Dutt which was a complete disaster .

Note : A recommended watch for thriller, suspense enthus.

What had i thought about this movie and what it showcased... With almost no resemblance to the Title of the movie except 'alive' it gave a different picture altogether . Surprised by its take on a tried subject, this movie is offbeat and certainly not suited for everyone . More like an art rendition , the 'white witch' of Cronicles of Narnia delvers a soothing performance . Note : Offbeat, not suited for everyone, slow and artistic genre.

The biggest secret..Jupiter is the name of Mila Kunis..Channing Tatum may have a few good commercial movies under his belt but this one eludes his streak .. The cinematography looks just amazing but somehow the story lacks something...it could have been much more..A can watch movie..

Birdman (2014)

Haunted by his successful past , birdman is trying to strive in this world...And truly ignorance is bliss.. This movie has gone straight to the oscars ...9 nominations ? A little over stretched ... Yes there is also emma stone, edward norton, zach from hangover and naomi watts but getting 9 nominations is a hell lot of crazy.. but anyways..surely deserves a watch ...
