Did Anurag Kashyap do it again ? A successful movie with an amazing story line.. The perfect blend of music with classic drama .. An awesome mind blowing thriller that revolves around so many sub-plots that the title is just apt for the showcase.. Watch it for its classic anurag kashyap tale.. Beware :  An intense thriller with bizarre dynamics and a sure off-beat movie which is not everyone's cup of tea :)

It was my much anticipated movie which i was saving it for a good time :) And..in some parts it did disappoint me and in some it did not...overall...a nice movie experience which i would recommend only if you the free time to watch it.,A lil about the movie : its a love story..two people get separated due to visa problems..and what ensues later is the whole story... 

A very good potential to start with..could have been tat blockbuster you have been waiting for...but..it explores more on the spiritual self...Yes, its literally as above as below but with some ramifications.. A thriller/horror when seen in the night..could surely have been better...but a good watch in the nights to scare the highlights out of you :)

Its all about her...its all about chloe and her choice to stay or not in this world... It was fine acting by her but something was amiss..not the usual her...not the "kickass" chloe...This movie is more about the journey..the dilemma of stayin or not and not the aftermath..Its like an analysis to the place between death and life...A can watch movie...

Oh yea !! All that hype, all that hacks...And it was truly worth it :) Its stoopid yes, but what an entertainment :) Loved every moment of it :) Thank you for the hacks coz this really deserves to be watched for its comedy factor ... No not a complete comedy package but Nevertheless a recommended watch :) Go, download it tonight  :)

The games arena is over and now its time for proper rebellion...Yes, District 12 has been destroyed and Katniss Everdeen will be the mockinjay...or will she ?? Very close to the books and coming to the right conclusion...its not an all out war with so much violence but its the tactical playing of war..the outright slaughter of innocent people....coz Pan Am is at war...Witness the start of the deadly revolution...A few slow moments but the second half picks it up and ends it with a deadly sequel :)

Alas this movie !! Do not go in with really high expectations coz its all seen and heard before... But rather experience the truth in the way which is convincing... Delete the songs and add another half star to it to get to four stars... Just go and enjoy the deep satire.. Coz this happens with you, daily... And this movie can be another eye opener .. !!

Yes i know its been super late for the review, nevertheless.. This 2.5 hours movie is a near masterpiece..well thats what you get if you perfectly draft it from a book...David Fincher should get awards for this :) How smart, cunning can one be ? Forget the end but look at the whole journey of it...Brilliant Acting by Aflleck,Harris and Pike (Best yet) :) If you haven watched it..watch the blu-ray rip online :) :)

What would you do if the spiritual beliefs trumped your scientific beliefs ? I Origins...basically all about the "eyes" could leave you thinking...Warning : it is not a mainstream movie, many wont like it...but if you are something of a off-beat movie person then you should surely watch it :)

Comparing it with gladiator is a sin.. But Ridley Scott does what he is best at... Making it super grand and epic with a lifetime experience..!! Mosses re-imagined with Christian Bale and re-living the ruthless Egypt under the pharoh rameses !! A definite watch but beware of its 2.5 hours length coz it may at times bore you...! 

The epic end to the epic battle!! The reminiscence of LOTR was clear and it was beyond all expectations !! This continuation from the second movie was more like a transformation into greatness and grand adventure of a life time... A must must watch in theatre and if possible... In Imax !!!

Alas the revenge is complete...This sequel does/does not live up to its expectations...Jessica Alba, Eva Green (Stupendous) !! The predecessor was released in 2005 and after 9 whole years the sequel surely is worth the watch..the same noir cartoon storyline is good to see... Not for those who are not into bold drama, violence, medium paced and cartoonistic storyline . Do watch the original one to get a hang of this sequel... :)

Denzel Washington !! If you have not seen this then do watch..! Every world needs a super hero to weed out the evil but this guy aint no super hero...he is simple "the equalizer" . The balancer ... With low expectations this turned out to be wayyy goood..missed it watching it in theatre..!!

Daniel Radcliffe...yes the sole reason to watch this movie..And it was an avg movie to watch... After the HP series you just cannot expect magic from him time and again :P Another typical love story with a real "what if" .... a recent fad to showcase love stories in the modern era ....

A dysfunctional family gathers around for their dads funeral and what ensues was suppose to be a comedy but then its a drama with a proper dysfunctional attributes. Had a few sparks but then later on missed the bus . A just can watch movie through the weekend...or can even miss it

Why ? Why megan fox..choose this over transformers ?? The classic cartoon gets converted to a movie and... its fast paced (for a short movie-its appropriate) , but lacks the good typa story line as envisaged in the cartoons ... but a good watch overall :) good cgi :)

Such a promising movie...but it just lost the plot somewhere ...well..maybe right in the start.. it wasnt comedy...its just a tale with a lot of self-realisation "Drama" .. not worth the time as such.

Yes, watching it like months before the official release is gr888 :) Paradoxes and Ethan Hawke.. thats the whole movie..As the name suggests...its..yes..'time travel'. The first half will just bore you but its the only link to the second half...Not at all a mainstream movie but really worth the watch . Remember : Paradox ..!!

Funnnn ride..the gooood getaway of the weekend :) the trashing fun drama which one can enjoyyyy :)

Fast paced, with more of a theory based future and maybe well ahead of its time. Again not exactly a mainstream movie ..!! after the movie 'under the skin' seems like scarlett johnson is more into the independent theory based movies... Nevertheless, a can be good watch movie :) 3 outta 5

It falls short of the feat achieved by cocktail..yes, a something "hatke" movie but actually having a happy ending per se did have an adverse impact. Could have been better but is a can watch movie . Thankfully less of songs were included in this 136 mins movie.. It did become boring at times but overall an ok and can watch movie... 

If only i could cry...!! Beautiful , cherishing, unimaginable, the forward leap... No, its not another inception and certainly not a true mainstream movie.. Its all the possibility of the future, physics, science, space and the spectacular Nolan scripted epic masterpiece in recent times. If people say it lacked depth then they shud realise tat its a mere 170 min movie !! A must must watch ,specially in imax if possbile (Not for the action oriented, and total mainstream ppl..rather ppl will even find it boring and way below their expectation) 4.8 outta 5 !!

A definite repent of not watching in theatres,,!! Fun, Galactic Wilderness, Awesome !! Something which i anticipated like another green lantern but it was beyooond.. A recommended watch in the best quality available !! :)

Another true story movie ...well, Annie Parker is still alive ... a fight of women to fight cancer...'breast cancer'. A movie abt the journey of this movie and the cure of kinda breast cancer...well almost... Another non-mainstream movie ..but a can watch :)

Was totally mistaken to assume that its a rip-off A walk to remember...The effect of cancer but the joy of living is something else and the blossom of love amidst all the agony can be heartning :) Not a mainstream a movie but worth the time :)

A blend of Om puri and the makers imagination .. Was a good touch to the Indians settling in a foreign land but in a different way ... French land it is with the touch of art of foooood :) Have to see it to believe it... a can watch :)

Dwayne Johnson it is..And he does manage to do a gr8 role :) An action movie which has come us after the legend of Hercules and is way better than that :) Loved the alternate history of the movie :( A good time pass movie :)

Pathetic is the least savoury word i can put up for this one..!! There was potential but after the initial scenes it just went downhill..From bad to worse..!! It cud have no way been improved coz it simply sucked...!! a must skip movie :) 

Another twister ? Maybe and maybe not. It is the modern Twister with a few lacking story lines but it does make up  for it by its awesome CGI experience.. its truly getting Into the Storm and experiencing it first hands which are "eyes only" . A good watch for the weekend :)

All in ? all the previous step ups had their great story lines with really good performances but this one...sad... a total disaster which is nothing compared to earlier ones...its like they were forced to make the final version of this franchise without heeding to the basic concept of story and performances (the main theme of the movie). A total skip alert for this movie unless you really running out of choices to watch a movie...

Keira Knightly in this avatar is goood.. though there were quite a few movies post pirates of caribbean but this one seems refreshing. Mark Ruffolo delivers good. Its a simplistic, music oriented movie which does catch your fancy . A rather soothing and thought provoking movie to watch :)

Acting, Script, Priyanka, India = Awesomeness :) In the plethora of sports movies this one is a jewel in the crown.. Yes, its Mary Kom, the true Indian with the journey of er boxing in the north-eastern Indian state - Manipur...You will surely love this movie :) An inspiring and motivational story to feel and watch :)

A prequel to The Conjuring was the only reason that made me watch this movie.. All the doll possession, etc etc was more of a stereo-type genre of horror..But nevertheless, at times it did have its moments but then overall it was a passee...could have been a lot better.. A can watch movie at the night only :)

So you try to make a sequel of a re-make of a south indian movie and this is the result---> Disaster.. Rohit Shetty you are just over doing it so many times.. what a retarded waste movie !! So many sad flaws and expecting it to gross in a lot of money ?? Bad storyline is a biiiig factor...Advise : DO NOT WATCH

The involvement of Ramesh Sippy, and i thought it would really be something great..But it fell short of my expectations... a good effort no doubt but something was clearly missing.. Anupam Kher was there and so was Rhea and also Ali (from bobby jasoos fame)but.. there were clear flaws in the story line at times though it was mixed with the stark reality of todays corporate dominance .. not worth watch in theatres..but a sure family flick hit on tv :P :)

Samuel Jackson ---> the only reason that i was inclined to watch it and... well not as disappointing as people are saying...i mean for a full fledged bad ass movie it wasnt upto the mark but just for a casual time pass it was pretty much fine to watch.. gory bloody movie set in the future was no eye soar..So, a can watch for the weekend :)

??? - yea thats my reaction to this re-make of the highly successful movie Knight and Day. Am compelled to compare it with the hollywood flick and i feel so...well...weird and awkward of how much they have Indianised this awesome movie.. Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise just cannot be replaced ever..Songs+some really illogical things+Indianisation = Bang Bang.. However, if you still wanna enjoy it then do not keep in mind the original flick or else you will never wanna watch Katrina or Hritik act ever,,!!

Its the season on sequels..the much awaited 22 jump street had a lot of new stuff to offer compared to the prequel..This superior sequel was the role reversals time for both our main actors ... Going to school wasnt enough that now they get go to college..However, somewhere with too many college movies in the fray this did look out of sync at times...Nevertheless, it did catch some fantastic moments ... This is one gr8 awesome movie to watch over the weekend :)

Where the first one was constrained to a particular house, this was goes on a rampage...goes with a total chaotic message to the people of the newly liberated country... The Annual purge brings out the good and bad in us all ..But the real deal is here..and its spreading..Yes, the annual purge is now total anarchy...! Do watch out for this sequel coz am waiting for the next one :)

Eric Bana, a whole lot of expectations from this guy and he turned out to be average in it...maybe coz of the storyline ? Nevertheless, just another scary movie with the account of "based on a true story" which does keep you engaged at times but then you can guess the plots, the aftermath, etc, etc..a can watch movie for the sleepless nights :)

Bold, and more like sex, sex, sex .. the bad teacher couple seemed like an interesting cast but however after the end of the movie the charisma just waded off... had a good story line but somewhere just had lost the plot ... Overall, could have been done better but can be watched for time pass :)

Not another teen movie ?? Well no, its way better than just that...! Based on novels, the series of movies gives a very good start..Keeps you engaged till the very end with its enthralling curiosity.. Just when you think its all over it starts all over again to tell you there is no end to their destined faith.. Waiting for the next movies ... :)

'To be or not be' - Is that the whole movie..?? Well, no (or maybe yes)!! Welcome to the real KASHMIR (no its not jammu, its only Kashmir) .. Each and every point there was this question 'to be or not to be'..Though HAIDER was the main subject, it showed the beauty , mesmerizing sceneries of Kashmir ; the army, AFSPA, Militants, Jihadis and most importantly the psychological trauma and aftermath that people of Kashmir go through (at some scenes it was an irony to the picture portrayed to the outside world, a true personification of human tragedy)... No, its not only action but its more of drama, dark ground realities.. A brilliant performance by Shahid Kapoor (best till now), Shradha and a special mention of Tabu and K.K. Menon as usual outstanding..The whole Haider concept blended with Hamlet went way too deep to touch the chords of soul... PS : 'Chutspa' :P :P (Dont forget this word) NOTE : Please watch Bang Bang if ur intrstd only in action coz this one

One of the best movies of 2014..!! A perfect blend of the topic of human trafficking with suspense and thriller..!! Rani Mukherjee.... way way awesome..!! a really worth watch movie.. wish it could always run packed in theatres... Amazing movie..!!!!!!!!

Set in the modern day India wherein some parts of India are still under the influence of the Coal Mafia... yes, this movie is all about a place/man/plot called Koyelaanchal... With all the elements available at its disposable it does use them brilliantly at times but then falls short of its true full potential.. Could have certainly been better with more invigorating drama.. If only and if it could have been better, it could have been another gangs of wasseypur.. :)

Based on a true story.. 2 Indians get picked up for "baseball" pro training in the US. It did have some sparks here and there but since its based on a true story, whatever could have been put in here has been embedded,. a little laughs with some reality bites and seriousness and a good hindi portions of hindi talking..

And amazing... Woody Allen and John Tururro have simply outperformed...!! Not the guilt trip movie which i was expecting...but something more.. something that is an instant hit with the different take on society of brooklyn .. a true must watch if you can digest the bold initiatives taken by the movie..

A 2001 movie making any sense in 2014 ? maybe, maybe not.. not the usual horror movies that i have come across... just wanted to see if there is actually something in it..good new concept but it lacked conviction.. just an over-do to make it commercially viable...could have certainly been better..

An Australian film is usually never bustling like american movies and this one does justify that.. Set in "10 years after the collapse", giving a clear indication of how fucked up the country is... But the journey is all about "the rover"... of all the cars exisiting in the world post the collapse only his luxurious car remains... And the story is all about that car.. NOTE : Brutal and bloody, slow but engaging...

Mesmerised !! What a movie..!! A perfect blend of satire,humour,reality,modern politics and the modern Indian rural scenario...!! A brilliant performance by Kangana and Veer Das..!! After Queen , Kangana has done justice to her new found fame... The director and the whole movie.. just way off the charts... i wish this movie had run into packed houses, such is its capability..It has everything.. A very good movie in such a short span by Kangana..!! Note : Recommended watch for a brilliant entertainer who have the stomach for satire and modern India rural scenario :)

Himesh Reshamiya may be, may be  after all can be called an 'actor'... a struggling one though ... he does try to act somewhere somehow..But honey singh should have never ever given it a chance at al...A murder in the first 10 mins and thats how the story proceeds... Based on suspense , thriller genre.. the potential it had was immense but lacked the final good punch...! Note : A good time pass for the weekend :)

I consider this one as some kinda classic. Colin Farrell with his stupendous acting just blows off the mind. Just in a simple phone booth in year 2002 where the smartphone boom has just begun, this guy just uses a payphone and for that day and moment he is just trapped there. In the year 2014 this all seems so farce, lame but looking back, it all seems so enthralling :) A similar hindi movie - Knockout (2010) was made starring Irffan Khan and Sanjay Dutt which was a complete disaster . Note : A recommended watch for thriller, suspense enthus. 

What had i thought about this movie and what it showcased... With almost no resemblance to the Title of the movie except 'alive' it gave a different picture altogether . Surprised by its take on a tried subject, this movie is offbeat and certainly not suited for everyone . More like an art rendition , the 'white witch' of Cronicles of Narnia delvers a soothing performance . Note : Offbeat, not suited for everyone, slow and artistic genre.
